CVE-2024-51463Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated network scanning via testConnectPort SSRF

Published Dec 21, 2024 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

SSRF in IBM Navigator for IBM operating system releases 7.3, 7.4, and 7.5 allows remote authenticated users to scan reachable hosts. The testConnectPort servlet method accepts an attacker-controlled hostname and port and makes an outbound TCP connection without restricting the destination. A valid Navigator session and a bypassed servlet token check are required; response differences disclose whether remote ports are open.
