Session hijacking via unvalidated Host headers
Published Jun 22, 2026 · Updated Jun 22, 2026
HTTP header injection in IBM Engineering Workflow Management 7.0.2, 7.0.3, and 7.1 allows remote attackers to hijack sessions. Host header processing accepts attacker-controlled values without proper validation, enabling cross-site scripting, cache poisoning, and session hijacking. No authentication or user interaction is required; affected ranges end at 7.0.2 Interim Fix 035, 7.0.3 Interim Fix 017, and 7.1 Interim Fix 004.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
