Stored XSS via unsanitized XML file uploads
Published May 13, 2025 · Updated May 13, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Siemens Polarion ALM 2310 and 2404 before 2404.4 allows remote authenticated users to target file viewers. The file-upload path stores crafted XML without adequately neutralizing browser-executable content before later download and viewing. Exploitation requires an authenticated uploader and a separate user to download and view the XML, executing script in that viewer's browser context.
