CVE-2024-51445Network attack vector

Arbitrary server data read via DOCX XXE

Published May 13, 2025 · Updated May 13, 2025

XXE in Siemens Polarion V2310 and V2404 before V2404.4 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary application-server data. The DOCX importer resolves attacker-supplied external entity references in embedded XML rather than restricting them to intended resources. Access to the DOCX import feature requires an authenticated account, and successful exploitation exposes data readable by the application server.
