CVE-2024-51440Public exploit

Local privilege escalation via unsanitized Binder command

Published Feb 12, 2025 · Updated Mar 22, 2025

Command injection in NtBpfService in Nothing Tech Nothing OS 2.6 allows local users to execute commands in a privileged context. The service accepts Binder calls without a special permission, inserts the update_fstb_fps_list argument into a shell command, and bpfloader passes it to system() without sanitization. Any installed app can reach the service; injected commands run as root but remain confined by bpfloader's SELinux domain, which retains chown, net_admin, and sys_admin capabilities.
