Stored script execution via unsanitized test names
Published Oct 31, 2024 · Updated Oct 31, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Online Diagnostic Lab Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. The diagnostic/add-test.php handler stores an unsanitized Test Name value, and Manage Test later inserts it into a page where the browser executes it. An admin or staff login is required to add the payload; viewing Manage Test then runs it in that site's browser security context.
