Network disruption via forged LLDP broadcast ports

Denial of service in Project Floodlight Floodlight 1.2 allows local users to interrupt host communications with forged LLDP packets. The topology logic treats attacker-supplied LLDP port data as legitimate switch broadcast ports, splitting the established archipelago into false clusters. A host attached to an OpenFlow-controlled switch can isolate hosts inside the split cluster from each other and from outside networks.
