Browser script execution via stored problem fields

Stored cross-site scripting in Faveo Helpdesk and Servicedesk 9.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a viewer’s browser. The Problem form stores unsanitized HTML supplied in its Subject, Identifier, and Description fields and renders that content when the saved problem is viewed. An attacker must be able to create a problem, and execution then requires another user to open its page; the demonstrated impact is browser-side script execution or page defacement.
