Unauthenticated live-feed access via open RTSP handler
Published Nov 5, 2024 · Updated Nov 6, 2024
Missing authentication in LSC Smart Connect Indoor IP Camera 7.6.32 allows remote attackers to view live footage over RTSP. The RTSP protocol handler on port 8554 accepts stream setup and playback requests without authenticating the requester. Layer 3 connectivity to the camera is sufficient, exposing live video without granting reported configuration changes or service interruption.
