Unauthenticated server-side HTTP requests via application URL lookup
Published Nov 5, 2024 · Updated Nov 7, 2024
SSRF in LinuxServer.io Heimdall 2.6.1 allows remote attackers to make server-side HTTP requests through the Add Application feature. The feature accepts an application URL and retrieves it from the Heimdall host without restricting the request destination. The web GUI lacks authentication by default, so exposed instances permit unauthenticated network probing; optional password protection changes that gate.
