Database read and modification via admin-login SQL injection
Published May 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Directory Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data via the admin login. The /admin/index.php login accepts a POST username containing quote-delimited SQL that changes a MySQL WHERE or HAVING condition, including boolean and time-delay expressions. No credentials or user interaction are required; the published proof of concept demonstrates current-database discovery and states that database contents can be dumped.
