Remote memory corruption via SetNetControlList stack overflow
Published Jul 20, 2026 · Updated Jul 20, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in Tenda TX9 firmware 22.03.02.05 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory via SetNetControlList requests. The sub_4418CC function reached through /goform/SetNetControlList overruns a stack buffer while processing crafted input, but public records omit the affected parameter and copy operation. No authentication or user interaction is required; the published record does not distinguish a device crash from code execution.
