Authenticated command execution via dumpSyslog injection
Published Oct 30, 2024 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
Command injection in DrayTek Vigor3900 firmware 1.5.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary system commands. The dumpSyslog function in mainfunction.cgi places attacker-controlled input into a command context without adequate neutralization. Access to the management interface with low privileges is required, and successful exploitation grants command execution on the router.
