Cross-organization prompt tampering via unchecked version identifier
Published Jun 6, 2024 · Updated Oct 15, 2025
Missing authorization in Lunary 1.2.2 through 1.2.24 allows remote authenticated users to alter prompt version details. The template-versions PATCH handler updated the row named by the request identifier without verifying that its template and project belonged to the caller's organization. An account with prompt-update permission and a target version identifier can tamper with another organization's prompt content, test values, or draft state.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
