CVE-2024-51259Network attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via certificate setup handler

Published Oct 31, 2024 · Updated Oct 31, 2024

Command injection in DrayTek Vigor3900 firmware 1.5.1.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands over the network. The setup_cacertificate function in mainfunction.cgi fails to neutralize attacker-controlled command elements before execution. No authentication or user interaction is required, so a reachable management interface exposes the appliance to arbitrary command execution.
