Authenticated command execution via doSSLTunnel input injection
Published Oct 30, 2024 · Updated Oct 30, 2024
Command injection in DrayTek Vigor3900 firmware 1.5.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The doSSLTunnel handler in mainfunction.cgi passes attacker-controlled command content to an operating-system command path without neutralizing special elements. Low-privilege access to the network management interface is required; successful exploitation compromises router confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
