Authenticated command execution via doPPPo input injection
Published Nov 1, 2024 · Updated Nov 4, 2024
OS command injection in DrayTek Vigor3900 Firmware 1.5.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands. The mainfunction.cgi handler invokes doPPPo with attacker-controlled input without neutralizing shell metacharacters before command execution. Low-privileged management access is required, and successful exploitation grants control over appliance data and operation.
