Authenticated SSRF via unchecked server IP
Published Oct 30, 2024 · Updated Oct 31, 2024
SSRF in ServerDeployController in ELADMIN 2.7 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to initiate server-originated requests. The testConnect endpoint accepts the JSON ip value and passes it to connection handling without enforcing the domain restriction applied by the front end. High-privileged access to the management API is required; the published proof demonstrates attacker-directed DNS resolution, not response-body disclosure or code execution.
