Administrator-targeted script execution via unencoded brand names
Published Mar 23, 2026 · Updated Mar 23, 2026
Stored XSS in Phpgurukul Vehicle Record Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to run scripts via a crafted brandname. The add-brand.php handler stores the POST value in tblbrand unchanged, and add-vehicle.php later inserts it into an HTML option without output encoding. Administrator access is required to add a brand, and the payload runs in the browser of each authenticated administrator who opens the Add Vehicle page.
