Authenticated script execution via unencoded invoice search
Published Nov 20, 2024 · Updated Nov 20, 2024
Reflected XSS in PHPGurukul Client Management System 1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through invoice searches. The admin and client invoice-search pages render attacker-controlled search input as HTML without context-appropriate output encoding. A low-privileged account and interaction by a user who loads the crafted response are required, bounding impact to data and actions available in that browser session.
