Authenticated data read and modification via injectable parameters
Published May 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Event Registration System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify data via crafted POST parameters. The load_registration action in classes/Master.php inserts the last_id and event_id POST values into MySQL queries without neutralizing SQL syntax. Registrar access reaches the endpoint, and demonstrated boolean-based, time-based, and UNION payloads can extract or change application data.
