Stored script execution via unsanitized filter name
Published Nov 11, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Stored XSS in TRENDnet TEW-651BR 2.04B1, TEW-652BRP 3.04b01, and TEW-652BRU 1.00b12 allows attackers to run JavaScript. The /filters.htm page stores macList_Name_1.1.1.0.0 input from the Filter Name box without neutralizing script markup and executes it when the page is viewed. A user with low-privilege access must save the payload, and another user must open the affected page; execution occurs in that viewer's browser.
