Unauthenticated database access via unescaped vote parameter
Published May 20, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in CampCodes Online Examination System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or modify database data through the vote parameter. In save.php, the vote request value is interpolated without validation or escaping into the quoted candidate_name value of an UPDATE query. No login is required, and a time-based blind payload can execute MySQL SLEEP calls, expose database contents, or alter voting data.
