CVE-2024-51139Network attack vector

Unauthenticated code execution via CGI POST integer overflow

Published Feb 27, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

Integer overflow in the CGI parser of DrayTek Vigor router firmware allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via HTTP POST requests. The parser uses the Content-Length header to size a request-data allocation without preventing integer wraparound, allowing the request body to overflow heap memory. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation executes code on the router and permits complete device compromise.
