CVE-2024-51136Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Code execution and information disclosure via XXE

Published Nov 4, 2024 · Updated Nov 5, 2024

XXE in OpenIMAJ Dmoz2CSV 1.3.10 allows attackers to access sensitive information or execute arbitrary code via a crafted XML file. Dmoz2CSV creates an XML parser without secure-processing features or external-entity restrictions, so it resolves attacker-defined system identifiers. The issue is reached when Dmoz2CSV processes the supplied file and can trigger outbound requests, disclose parser-accessible data, or execute code.
