CVE-2024-51058

Local file disclosure via HTML image traversal

Published Nov 26, 2024 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Local file inclusion in TCPDF 6.7.5 allows local users to read server files by supplying a parent-relative HTML image source. The HTML image handler accepts src paths containing ../ and resolves them against the local filesystem without rejecting parent-directory traversal. The calling application must render attacker-controlled HTML through TCPDF; disclosure is limited to files readable by the PHP process.
