Stack overflow in wireless.cgi in NETGEAR R8500 Firmware 1.0.2.160 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt router service. The CGI handler copies oversized opmode, opmode_an, and opmode_an_2 values into fixed-size stack buffers without enforcing bounds. Access from an adjacent network and valid low-privilege credentials are required; a successful POST request interrupts routing service.
