Browser script execution via unsanitized fname input
Published Nov 11, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024
Cross-site scripting in PHPGurukul User Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute browser-side code. The admin-only registered-users.php endpoint accepts the fname POST value and renders it into the registered-user view without neutralizing script markup. Administrative access is required to supply the value, and another user's browser must render the affected view, limiting impact to that browser context.
