Published May 19, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Simple Inventory System 1.0 allows remote attackers to bypass admin authentication via a crafted username. login.php places the POST username value directly into an SQL query without filtering, so a tautological payload changes the authentication logic. The login form requires no credentials, and successful exploitation grants administrative-backend access without the administrator password.
