Published Nov 8, 2024 · Updated Nov 8, 2024
CSRF in dingfanzu CMS 1.0 allows remote attackers to create an administrator account through a forged addAdmin request. The /admin/doAdminAction.php endpoint accepts an attacker-chosen username, password, and email in a cross-origin POST without validating request intent. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to load attacker-controlled content, after which the new account gains administrative access.
