Device communication interruption via forged wakeup interval overwrite

Insecure permissions in Silicon Labs Z-Wave 700/800 SDK 7.21.1 and earlier allow physically proximate attackers to disrupt communications. The controller accepts a crafted Z-Wave packet that overwrites an end device's wakeup interval in controller memory, so scheduled controller-to-device contact stops. Exploitation requires Z-Wave radio range—reported as 40 to 100 meters without extended-range equipment—and knowledge of the network HomeID and device NodeID; the end device itself continues operating.
