CVE-2024-50810Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated script execution via stored comment content

Published Nov 8, 2024 · Updated Nov 20, 2024

XSS in the article comment function in TendCode iZone LTS c011b48 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in a reader's browser. AddCommentView reads the POST content field, stores it as ArticleComment.content without sanitization, and templates render injected event-handler markup. A valid account and a reader's interaction with the crafted comment are required; script execution in an administrator's session can perform actions with that administrator's privileges.
