CVE-2024-50808Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated PHP execution via unescaped notification setting

Published Nov 8, 2024 · Updated Jul 5, 2026

Code injection in SeaCMS 13.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary PHP through the backend notification settings. admin_notify.php embeds the notify1 POST value inside generated PHP source and overwrites data/admin/notify.php without escaping quotes or code delimiters. Access to the administrative user module is required; a crafted value becomes server-side PHP when the generated notification file is requested.
