Arbitrary file upload in Tips and Tricks HQ WP eMember before 10.6.6 allows remote authenticated users to place PHP files on the server. The administrative folder-protection upload workflow accepts a PHP file without validating its type and stores it in the web-accessible eMember downloads directory. Administrator access and enabled folder protection are required; the uploaded PHP file can execute commands through the web server.
