Stored XSS via unescaped member name fields
Published Jul 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Stored XSS in Tips and Tricks HQ WP eMember before 10.6.7 allows remote attackers to execute script via member registration. The registration handler stores name-field input without sanitization, and the member-management page renders it without escaping. Free membership must be enabled, and an administrator must open the members page; the script then runs in that administrator's browser.
