Cross-account data access via unchecked object references
Published Feb 26, 2025 · Updated Mar 4, 2025
IDOR in Sungrow iSolarCloud before October 31, 2024 allows remote attackers to read other users' solar power station data. The powerStationService API fails to enforce object ownership when resolving a caller-controlled reference; Sungrow has not disclosed the endpoint or parameter. Network access is sufficient, with no authentication or user interaction required; the disclosed consequence is unauthorized cross-account data access.
