Script execution via reflected search payload
Published Dec 6, 2024 · Updated Dec 6, 2024
Reflected XSS in OroCommerce 5.1.0 allows remote attackers to execute scripts in a victim's browser through the search parameter. The storefront product-search route places the search query into the page without safely neutralizing script markup, then executes it when the victim activates the search field. The default configuration is affected, no authentication is required, and exploitation requires the victim to open a crafted link and click the search bar.
