Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized pincode parameter
Published May 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 8, 2024
SQL injection in PHPGurukul Online Course Registration System 3.1 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data. The pincode-verification.php endpoint passes the POST pincode value into a MySQL condition without neutralizing quote-delimited SQL, enabling boolean- and time-based blind injection. A valid student session is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates database enumeration rather than operating-system command execution.
