Unauthenticated API access via path traversal
Published Aug 22, 2025 · Updated Aug 22, 2025
Authentication bypass in MallChat 1.0-SNAPSHOT allows remote attackers to access protected APIs without a token. TokenInterceptor.preHandle tests the unnormalized request URI for a public-path segment and returns true before traversal sequences are resolved. A nonempty server.servlet.context-path is required; a crafted path containing public and ../ reaches protected API handlers without authentication.
