Mail server hijacking via cleartext autoconfiguration

Cleartext autoconfiguration in KDE KMail before 6.2.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to substitute an attacker-controlled mail server. The account wizard's ispdbservice.cpp retrieves provider configuration from autoconfig domains and well-known paths over HTTP without transport authentication. Exploitation requires control of the victim's network path and can redirect account setup, exposing credentials or mail to the substituted server.
