CVE-2024-50603Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated command execution via unsanitized API parameters

Published Jan 8, 2025 · Updated Oct 21, 2025

OS command injection in Aviatrix Controller before 7.1.4191 and 7.2.x before 7.2.4996 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands. The /v1/api handlers for list_flightpath_destination_instances and flightpath_connection_test concatenate cloud_type or src_cloud_type into shell command strings without escapeshellarg. No valid CID is required because validation occurs after command construction, so an Internet-reachable controller exposes command execution with the service's privileges.
