Browser script execution via reflected calendar input
Published Nov 7, 2024 · Updated Nov 8, 2024
Reflected XSS in Zimbra Collaboration Suite 8.8.15 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a calendar endpoint. The webmail calendar endpoint places improperly handled user-supplied input into its HTML response, allowing the browser to interpret the reflected content as code. Exploitation requires user interaction, and successful script runs in the affected site's browser context with access bounded by that user's session.
