CVE-2024-50594Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Storage exhaustion via HTTP PUT length underflow

Published Apr 2, 2025 · Updated Nov 3, 2025

Integer underflow in affected STMicroelectronics X-CUBE-AZRTOS packages allows remote authenticated users to exhaust device file storage. _nx_web_http_server_put_process subtracts a packet payload larger than Content-Length from an unsigned counter, wrapping it to a huge value. Reachability requires enabled HTTP PUT processing and an oversized follow-up packet; continued data fills storage and interrupts service.
