DBA access via exposed default credentials
Published Nov 8, 2024 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
Authentication bypass in HASOMED Elefant before 24.03.03 allows remote attackers on the local network to obtain Firebird DBA access. The bundled Firebird server listens on all interfaces on port 3050 and accepts known default SYSDBA credentials for the Elefant database path. Network reachability to port 3050 is required; successful access exposes patient and login data and permits SYSTEM-level arbitrary file creation or overwrite.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
