Authenticated database disclosure via JSON-embedded SQL
Published Dec 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 3, 2025
SQL injection in Image Access GmbH Scan2Net before 7.42 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via crafted GET input. The /class/template_io.php export handler processes SQL placed inside JSON in the templates parameter, letting boolean predicates alter ZIP responses. A Poweruser session and network access to the scanner are required; successful exploitation exposes data available to the s2n database account.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
