Stored script execution via unsanitized sprint value
Published Oct 28, 2024 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
Stored XSS in JetBrains YouTrack before 2024.3.47707 allows remote authenticated users to execute script via a crafted sprint value. The agile boards page stores a user-controlled sprint value and renders it without sufficient output neutralization, causing a browser to execute embedded script. Exploitation requires low-privileged access to supply the sprint value and user interaction when another user opens the affected board; resulting script can read or modify data within that user's YouTrack session.
