Unauthorized service access via unchecked permanent-token issuance
Published Oct 28, 2024 · Updated Oct 28, 2024
Improper access control in JetBrains Hub before 2024.3.47707 allows remote authenticated users to create unauthorized permanent tokens. The token-generation path fails to verify that the requesting user is authorized for the target service before issuing a permanent token. A low-privileged Hub account is required, and the token exposes data available through that service without reported availability impact.
