Portal access via expired session-cookie replay

Insufficient session expiration in FortiOS SSL-VPN allows remote attackers holding a prior portal cookie to regain access. The portal accepts a previously issued session cookie after its session expires or the user logs out, restoring authenticated portal access. Exploitation requires possession of a cookie from an earlier login; Fortinet has not disclosed the underlying validation routine.
