Remote system crash via incomplete HTTP requests
Published May 17, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Uncontrolled resource consumption in XAMPP for Windows 7.3.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to crash systems via incomplete HTTP requests. The request-processing path consumes resources without an effective bound while numerous HTTP requests remain unfinished. No authentication or user interaction is required; sustained network input can exhaust availability and crash the Windows host.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
