Stored XSS via undisclosed input handling
Published Oct 28, 2024 · Updated May 11, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in html5maps Interactive World Map 3.4.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject script content. Patchstack and html5maps identify stored XSS but do not disclose the affected field, function, or missing neutralization operation. Low-privileged access and a victim's page view are required; successful injection executes attacker-controlled script in that visitor's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
